Reporting an Absence

Expected Absences

If you know in advance that your son or daughter is going to be away from school for any reason please either send a letter informing us of the date, time and duration of the absence or contact us using the methods below.

Unexpected Absences

If your son or daughter is absent from school please contact the school before 9:15 am on the first day of any absence.

Term-Time Absences

The conditions under which leave of absence for term-time holidays may be granted are contained in Regulation 8 of The Education (Pupils Registration) Regulations 1995 and Sections 38-42 of School Attendance: Policy and Practice on Categorisation of Absence 1994.  To request a term-time leave of absence, please complete and return a copy of the form below to school.
