At Pinewood School, we believe learning should be accessible, engaging, and supportive—wherever our students are. 

Our new home learning programme has been designed to meet the diverse needs of our secondary learners with Special Educational Needs, and their families, offering structured, personalised, and flexible learning opportunities beyond the classroom. 

Our aim with ‘Home Learning’ is to support the development and acquisition of knowledge and skills within a number of curriculum areas including Numeracy, Literacy and Social & Emotional / Self-help and Independence whilst not in school.

To do this, we have provided a range of activities for pupils to choose from, the number of activities they complete and whether they wish to share their efforts on their Google Classroom can be flexible to suit your individual child.
