Overview

Pinewood School recognise the importance of data protection and conforms to all relevant UK and EU legislation as applicable under law.

Subject Access Requests

In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have a right to access and receive a copy of personal data and other supplementary information we hold about you or in the case of a legal guardian, that which we hold about your child under the age of 13 or over the age of 13 provided they have given consent.

To make a subject access request, please either call us on 01920 412211 and ask to speak to the Data Protection Officer (Ed Uncle) or email dpo@pinewood.herts.sch.uk

We also provide a form  that is designed to collect the information needed to identify the data you are requesting. You may optionally download and complete this form and then send it, with the appropriate identification documents either by post to: The Data Protection Officer, Pinewood School, Hoe Lane, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 9PB.  Or via email to dpo@pinewood.herts.sch.uk

Registration with the Information Commissioner’s Officer (ICO)

Pinewood School have registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) with the following registration number – ZA075508.

We may hold personal information on our database and in locked and secured filing cabinets, which is used to enable us to provide education, training, welfare and educational support services to ensure the smooth running of the school.
