How to reuse a post on Google Classroom

You can reuse an announcement, assignment, or question from a class. When you reuse a post, you can: Use it in the original class or in a different class, make copies of any attachments, including rubrics, or add new ones; and modify the post before you publish it. Start out by visiting your Google Classroom page for your class, and click on ‘Classwork’ at the top …

Once there, press on the ‘Create’ button, and then press on ‘Reuse post’ …

You will then be greeted with the below screen. Click on the class which has the assignment you want to copy from …

You will now be able to click on the post you’d like to reuse. The ‘REUSE’ button on the bottom right will then be highlighted in blue …

If you’re copying a post to a different class, and don’t want to link multiple classes to the same attachments, tick the ‘Create new copies of all attachments’ box. This will create new documents in the Drive folder of the class you are reusing this post in …
