How to download and enable the Wave Lite app

Wave Lite is an application which you can download on your iPhone or Android device which allows you to remote connect to your Work phone extension allowing you to dial out / receive calls using your own mobile phone. Here is a guide on how to set this up on an iPhone …


Visit the App Store and search for ‘Grandstream Wave Lite’. Download the App …

 

Open the App and ‘Allow’ notifications …

Navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu by pressing the cog on the bottom right hand corner, and then select ‘Account Settings’ …

Press on the ‘+’ on the top right hand corner …

Select ‘UCM Account (Scan QR Code) from the top of the list …

Once you have pressed on that, you will be given the opportunity to scan the QR code which would have been provided to you by the IT Department. Open this up and hold your camera to it (Mine has been blurred) …

Once you have successfully scanned your QR Code, press on ‘Add Account’ …

Next to your extension number on the top right, there should be a green circle. This means you have successfully connected, like mine, below …

Once you have added your extension you are able to dial out, receive calls, and listen to your work voicemails as usual. To open the Keypad, press on the button at the bottom. You are able to dial in school extensions (such as 237 for JAn) and these will connect as usual …

You may need to enable your Microphone in your settings before making your first call. To do this, open the Settings App on your phone and scroll down to the bottom where it says ‘Wave Lite’ …

Ensure ‘Microphone’ is switched on, along with Notifications. You do not have to worry about syncing your contacts …
