How to Receive and Complete Google Classroom assignments on a Mobile device

Teachers will be setting work for your children who are attending the Virtual School via Google Classroom. Here is a simple guide on how to complete an assignment using the various mobile apps

You are going to want to start by downloading the apps you are going to need. The first one you will need is Google Classroom …

The second app you will need is GMail …

Once you have installed all of the apps you require, open GMail and log in to your child’s Pinewood email account …

You will then be able to see all of your child’s emails from their teachers. Find the assignment email, and press on ‘Open’ …

Alternatively, you can open up the Google Classroom app, and view the assignment on the class stream …

Once you have pressed on the above, click on the arrow on the bottom in order to view any attached documents …

Once you have pressed on the above, you will be greeted with the below screen. Here, you can view any attached resources the teacher has provided (if any) …

Should your child be struggling to complete the work, they can utilise the ‘Private comment’ section – which allows the class teacher to privately see and respond to any questions if necessary …

You are also able to Add, or create any documents from this screen as well (you may need to install the relevant app) …

Once you have completed the work, press on ‘Hand in’ …

Should you want to make any changes to your work, you are able to press on ‘Unsubmit’ …
